GEOLOGY MUSEUM INTRODUCTION
The
history of Geology Museum:
After the Dong Duong Geology Office had been founded in 1898, two
French geologists, Mr. Lantenois and Mr. Mansuy, were committed to
construct the Geology Museum.

In
1914,
the museum was completed at the Office at No. 6, Pham Ngu Lao,
Hanoi. According to the article of Mr. Blondel, who was the director
of Dong Duong Geology Office at that time, the museum was a
one-floor house with the dimension of (39x9.5) meters.
In
1915,
the museum was improved from a one-floor house into a three-floor
house with the total area of 1111.5 square meters.
